Chinese OEM watch manufacturing companies in Shenzen or Dongguan China are usually willing to work with Kickstarter orders. You need to ensure that your manufacturing partner has prior experiences of working with kickstarter financed microbrands. OEM or ODM order for MOQ is typically 300 or 500 watches. If your order is less than 100 or 200 watches, you may be required to pay 15% to 25% more.

 When your design is unique, you are expected to pay molding expenses for watch cases. Production of prototype watches usually take up to 45-60 days, final production may take another 50 days. Diver watches will take up to 90 days for production. Custom designed watch cases takes longer time to finish.

In regard to payments, most Chinese factories or companies require 30% down, 70% prior to shipment. It is highly recommended that inspection of final products shall be conducted before the shipment is made.
